A note from the founder

A New Era for Rendezvous

October marks a new era for Rendezvous, and with it comes a new logo, one that I feel truly represents who we are and what we believe in. It brings together three fundamental pillars of the running experience.

UNITY

The circle represents unity. The run club you show up to each week, the community you find along the way, the silent nod at the start line. Wherever you are, whoever you are, running brings people together.

PATH

Inside the circle, a path represents the journey. It twists and turns, just like every runner's does: different goals, different routes, different reasons to lace up. But somewhere along the way, our paths cross.

MOMENTS

Within that path, a pin marks the rendezvous point: a place and time that shaped your journey. Whether it's somewhere new or meeting at the usual, each one tells a story.

Put all three elements together and it becomes clear that running is really about moments.

Moments in time, along your journey, shared with the people beside you.

That's what Rendezvous is all about, and I think our new logo captures it perfectly.

WHERE IT ALL STARTED

The name Rendezvous started at my old gym, where members had a WhatsApp group called "Rendezvous" to arrange which workout they'd meet for each day.

Running that gym showed me just how much real communities mean to people. So rather than trying to build an online community, I wanted Rendezvous to support the real ones already out there, making a difference in people's lives.

That's what inspired our upcoming collection: Meet at the Usual, launching next month at the New York City Marathon.

Follow along for more details, and sign up for early access before it drops.

Best,

James
